Box Builder

We’re rolling out a new tool in the Glowforge app: Box Builder. Quickly create perfectly fitted, finger‑jointed boxes by telling the app what you’re making and choosing your material. Box Builder handles kerf and layout, generating a cut‑ready design you can insert into your workspace.

To give it a try:

  1. Open a design in the Glowforge app and select Box Builder from the toolbar.
  2. Enter what the box will hold, then choose your Material and Kerf.
  3. Click Build Your Box to preview the layout and auto‑generated description.
  4. Select Insert to add the parts to your workspace, then print.

Tip: After you insert the parts, use AutoFit to quickly fit your box to the bed. Availability: Rolling out gradually. You’ll see Box Builder as soon as it appears in your app.
