Create From Hundreds of Materials

Traditional 3D printers work with layers of plastic. Your Glowforge is completely different: it can print objects using hundreds of beautiful materials like leather, acrylic, hardwood, fabric - even chocolate!

The Glowforge 3D laser printer uses a beam of light the width of a human hair to cut and engrave almost anything you can dream up.

Introducing Proofgrade™ Materials

Proofgrade materials are the first materials that are sourced, prepared, encoded, and lab-tested for perfect printing, every time. Proofgrade materials are specially formulated for the Glowforge 3D laser printer and work well with other cutter/engravers using CO2 laser technology.

Choose from materials like heirloom-grade hardwoods and the highest quality vegetable tanned full-grain leathers.

Digitally encoded so your Glowforge instantly recognizes the material and uses the ideal settings for perfect prints every time.

Naturally beautiful plywoods, veneers, and hardwoods are sanded and pre-finished with a beautiful satin coating that can last for generations.

A protective coating guards your materials through the printing process to keep them pristine. When the print is done, it peels off to reveal your finished masterpiece.

Materials are covered by our three-month limited warranty so you’ll get the quality you deserve.
