Community Chat runs on Discord, a popular and easy-to-use chat app. If you already know Discord, great! If not, just think of it as a big party with a lot of rooms (channels) with people talking about different things.

Once you’ve joined, you can share your designs with other creators and learn tips and tricks to get the most out of your Glowforge.

Getting started is simple: click
this linkto join. Or start a print, then click “Open Community Chat.”

Login to Discord or create an account. Once you’re logged in, click the down arrow across from “Glowforge” in the upper left. In the menu that appears, click “Linked Roles”.

Click the “Verified Owner” box, then click the “Glowforge [Bot]” box.

Click “Visit site”. When a new page opens, you may be asked to login again. Login with your Discord username and password.

Click “Authorize” to allow Glowforge to link to your Discord account.

Finally, you’ll be redirected to your Glowforge account so it can be linked to Discord. Login with your Glowforge account. Once you’re logged in, you’ll officially be one of us! You’ll be able to access all of Community Chat and talk with the rest of the community.
You are all set!
Now you can go back to your Discord window and start chatting with your fellow creators.
