Do I need a filter to use a Glowforge?
Nope! If you don’t have a Glowforge Air Filter, you can set up your laser near a window or door and use the provided hose to vent it outside. All Glowforge printers come with a 4" (10 cm) diameter hose which allows you to use your Glowforge near a window.
How big are the Glowforge filters?
Both the Performance Filter and Craft Laser Filters are small enough to tuck under a desk or table. The Performance Filter is 10.6" x 16.2" x 16.9"h, and the Craft Laser Filter is 10" x 13.5" x 18.5"h.
How long does it take to set up a Glowforge filter?
It only takes about 5 minutes to unbox, plug in, and connect your filter to your Glowforge.
