MDF Pendant Lamp

Joined Wed Sep 27 2017One of my first designs and builds from scratch is this Pendant Lamp made from 1/4' MDF. Overall, I am pleased with how it turned out but there are a couple of easy improvements. My kerf measurement was off, so it was a slightly loose fit that needed some wood glue. I thought I had read somewhere that the laser had a kerf of .001' but i found it to be .005-.007.
I also thought the design would look better if the slots were angled, so the panels would block more of the direct light.
