Upgraded servers for faster print preparation We’re upgrading the cloud servers for our free Glowforge Print service! That means you’ll see faster print preparation from when you click print until the button starts glowing.
A lot of software gets run between when you click “print” and when you get to hit that glowing button. We’re upgrading from general-purpose servers to cloud servers that are designed for intensive computing tasks like print preparation, which will make things faster for you.
We’re going to be gradually rolling this out to all users over the next several days.
Fixing naming The “Dashboard” is the name of the main screen you see when you go to app.glowforge.com. Currently we have a few different names used between the user interface and the support material. We’re doing some cleanup to use more consistent terminology and will be updating the app main screen and the navigation bar to use the term “Dashboard”.
