Faster workspace
We’ve improved the way the web interface works to make it load faster when you upload and edit your artwork. This is especially helpful on older or slower computers. It makes using the software more enjoyable and gets you from idea to print, faster.
Faster camera
Say cheese! The camera on your Glowforge takes pictures of your material at all the critical moments, like when you close the lid or change the material. We’ve just made that process faster, so you’ll get back all those precious seconds you might have spent waiting for the camera to load.
Upgraded rulers
When you select something in the workspace, you’ll see its position highlighted on the top and side ruler. This makes it easier to make sure things land in the right spot.
New catalog design
We just added the Modern Mosaic Pencil Holder to our catalog. Sharp eyes may recognize this as one of our designs from the original crowdfunding video! Since it’s a Glowforge launch video exclusive, many of you will get it for free. You can print it with just a single sheet of Proofgrade plywood.

Mobile app update
We just updated our Glowforge iOS app so that you won't get stuck on the loading screen after adding artwork with photos. Plus, we're making it easier for you to input your password with an option to make it visible as you type it in the login screen.
