A new and improved Referral Program
Our newest updates are live, so when you’re logged into glowforge.com/referrals, you’ll see a new and improved dashboard to share your special link and to keep track of your referral discounts.
You can earn up to $500 for each of the 5 discounts you can share–that’s up to $2500 in Proofgrade materials if you wish!
If you have more than 5 referral made already, you will have an opportunity to apply to be able to share more widely through our new Glowforge Insiders program. This will be hosted on a separate platform, Impact, where you’ll create an account and have access to complete reports of your earnings, which will now always reach you in cash. (No more requesting cash from your rewards!)
Faster App Performance
Adding bitmaps is up to 10x faster! When you add a bitmap to your design, they should appear in your workspace up to 10x faster. This includes uploading bitmaps, bitmaps created by all Creative Tools (Magic Canvas, Stamp Tool, and Image Adjustments), and copy and pasting bitmaps into your design.
A faster connection between your Glowforge printer We have made improvements to the way your Glowforge printer connects and reconnects to the cloud. This means that your printer's status in the app should now update up to 5x faster when switching between different operations.
Main navigation updates
It used to be that the options shown to you in the top navigation would change depending on where you were on the Glowforge website. We heard from many of you that this was confusing and disorienting, so we did work to make the navigation more intuitive and consistent across the site! Now, when you’re logged in with your Glowforge account, you’ll always see links to Create (takes you to your app dashboard), Shop (for materials, catalog designs and more), Community (to access the Forum and Live Chat) and Learn. If you’re working in the app and click links to other areas of the site, those will open in a new tab so that you don’t lose your context. And the Glowforge logo in the top left, it will always bring you back to glowforge.com.
