Design View Premium subscribers can now switch to a new Design View - a clean canvas for editing your designs. It's great for when you want to focus purely on layout and design work. You can choose your canvas size from the Machine drop down menu in the app.
Smartfit: Pack into a selected area Smartfit just got more precise for Premium subscribers. You can now select a specific area on your workspace and pack your shapes into it, rather than auto-fitting to the entire canvas. This makes it easier to nest pieces exactly where you want them, especially handy when you're working with scraps or using up a specific section of material.
Export: New file formats As part of opening Premium to all laser owners, we've added Lightburn and xTool Creative Space export formats alongside SVG for Premium subscribers. Many laser owners already rely on these tools to drive their machines, and now they can create designs in Glowforge Premium and seamlessly bring them into the software they're already using to print.
