Metric maybe?
You asked for it, and it’s here! The Glowforge UI is starting to go global. You now have the option to choose either inches or centimeters in the settings menu in your workspace. Depending on what you choose, the ruler and height measurements will automatically use the correct unit.
As a bonus, whenever you input a height for Material Thickness (example below), you can type the number with either unit of measurement (“in” or “cm” or “mm”) and we’ll convert it to the units you chose.
And most exciting of all, introducing... math! You can add and subtract different thicknesses in different units, and based on your preference we’ll automatically convert it to the right units for a more accurate image of the bed.
