As part of the work we’ve been doing to make your Glowforge faster, we are also improving auto-focus speeds on Aura and Spark! This will speed up autofocus (and thus print times), as well as making it quieter.
We’ve also fixed some rare issues that you reported: Some Aura and Spark owners have found that paper was being cut instead of scored - that will be fixed with this change. Rarely, a random line is scored on the material when engraving vector images - that will be fixed with this change too.
If you already have the faster speeds, you’ll see these changes in place by the end of the day on Friday. Faster speeds are on track to roll out to everyone by June 15.
