Finally had an occasion for one of those last-minute laser-to-the-rescue gifts. We have some friends who moved from Staten Island to Brooklyn, within sight of the Verrazano Bridge. I can’t make it to today’s lunch date, but I had the bright idea last night that we could make something for them.
