So, I’m making this layered wood project for my husband for Valentine’s day, and I am stuck on the coloring.
I kind of like the way it looks, but I can see how shading with paints or stain can bring some more dimension to the project.
I was hoping to get some opinions on how you would go about finishing it.

I’ve never created anying like this before, so I would greatly appreciate any imput.
