Envision yourself driving all aspects of Glowforge’s B2B marketing efforts. You'd be discovering the most attractive verticals, crafting launch plans and evangelizing Glowforge to new customers in new markets! You'd work closely with our performance marketing team to generate high value leads and provide tools fore sales convert them into orders. You'd also drive programs to promote B2B customer usage and delight.

Your Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Research, quantify, prioritize and target B2B vertical markets.
  • Provide vertical market customer feedback on Glowforge products and the experience to Product and Engineering teams to help inform and educate future roadmaps.
  • Work with Performance Marketing and Email Marketing to efficiently acquire and cultivate leads for the B2B Sales Team.
  • Partner with Sales to drive conversion including development of web content, collateral and training materials.
  • Team with Product Marketing (SVP Marketing, acting) to develop vertical market buyer personas, positioning, messaging and value propositions, and related collateral.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market plans for launching new products into existing vertical markets as well as launching new vertical markets.
  • Develop and implement trade show and event strategy to drive new target customer leads.

Experience Required

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience in a hardware or software technology company
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, computer science, engineering, or other similar analytical areas
  • Strong analytical approach, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator, presenter and evangelist
  • Strong listening skills; open to input from other team members and departments
  • Ability to lead through influence
  • Take high degree of ownership over their work
  • Strong project management skills

Experience That’s a Plus

  • Experience marketing integrated hardware/software (“connected”) products
  • Specific experience in the following channels or markets: Education; Architecture; Real Estate; SMB
  • Knowledge of SaaS or other recurring / subscription business models
  • MBA Degree or similar Masters in an analytical
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
  • You love to make things in your free time
