This is a full-time role in Seattle, and we are happy to help new employees relocate to this beautiful city.
Why we need you
Our team is growing and you will join to help grow and scale our legal team. You will work closely with the general counsel to support Glowforge in its growth and next phases. You will be an integral part of the legal team, helping craft the culture and set the standard for legal excellence on the team. You will be able to innovate, help build a best in class legal team, set processes, and tackle complex and exciting legal challenges. Glowforge is not just a 3D laser printer, it’s an inspiration - our business model is at the intersection of product sales, innovative technology, and creativity. You will be at the heart of all that our legal team does. You will help innovate, drive change that takes care of our people, organize projects around safety and delighting our customers, and building value for ourselves, our legal team, and our company. Our company’s future can come down to one scrap of paper, to the details of projects, to attention to detail, and you are at the heart of our company and will play an integral role in our success.
Here’s what you’ll be doing You will be working closely with the GC to provide litigation support, contract management, manage the General Counsel’s calendar, assist with all legal planning and events, support in immigration, prepare documents for the team and for the board of directors as needed. As one of the first members on the team, you will also be helping create the culture and set the standard for excellence on our legal team.
You need these qualifications
You must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in a combination of the following substantive areas:
- Executive Assistant
- Contracts Manager
It would be nice if...
- Preferred in-house experience
- Preferred experience at a start-up
